Home Sweet Home

We've been home for more than 24 hours, and everyone seems to be surviving. The NICU put the babies on a 3 hour feeding schedule, which we've been able to maintain, much to the aid of everyone's continuing sanity. They are pretty sleepy, and we still have to work to keep them awake for a full feeding, but they get a little better at it each time, and are up to ~2 oz. of breastmilk per feeding. Lucy is getting better about staying awake after her feeding, and is working on focusing her eyes and taking in everything around her. Malcolm has peed on everything in sight, including his Daddy and his own head (much to his chagrin). And the babies got their first post-hospital baths, which they both really seemed to enjoy. They have their first appointment with the pediatrician in the morning.
