On Saturday we had a great time celebrating Lucinda and Malcolm's
first birthday with a Cat in the Hat party!
Malcolm was a party animal, and even wore his hat for most of the party!
Lucinda took a while to warm up to such a big crowd, and didn't want to be too far from mom or dad.
This captures their respective moods for the first half of the party.
Lucinda really perked up when the cake came out, though, and she stayed in a pretty good mood while she rode her sugar high through the rest of the party.
Cake was such a big hit that it will get it's own post.
We are so glad that so much of our family was able to celebrate with us, including all three of their great grandmothers. These two are so loved.
They're also very spoiled :)
