Fall Fun in the Backyard

Having grown up in California, my favorite thing about living on the East Coast is that we get four real seasons.  Fall is definitely my favorite season.  I just love fall on the East Coast (although I would happily trade in summer for Northern California weather).  I love fall foods, the colors of the trees changing, and most of all, I love the weather.  This summer was brutal - it was swampy, and horribly hot, and the mosquitos were out of control.  I felt like we were held captive inside for months.  Then September came.  The humidity broke, it's been in the 70s every day, and (for the most part) the bugs have gone away.  Ahhhh.... fall!  After the summer we had, I'm committed so spending as much time as possible outside this fall.  And to enjoying our backyard again!  Here are some shots of backyard fun last Friday morning.
