Malcolm and Lucinda are so lucky to have such a fantastic daddy!

We celebrated Father's Day on Saturday, since the weather was absolutely perfect and we wanted to spend the day outside at Burke Lake Park. We rode the train, went for a walk around the lake, had a picnic, rode the carousel and had ice cream (or "ki ki" as Malcolm calls it). It really was a perfect family day.

After naps, we blew bubbles, played outside, and ate sandwiches from our favorite bakery.
We were lucky that we chose Saturday to celebrate Father's Day on Saturday. As we were putting the kids to bed that night, Malcolm spiked a high fever, and Lucinda quickly followed. They woke up Sunday morning still feverish, and Lucinda kicked off Father's Day proper by puking all over Matt. :( After a few days of fevers, extra snuggles, watching movies, and some antibiotics for Malcolm to treat an ear infection, they're back to their normal selves now.
