Lucinda says she wants to be an artist, but she doesn't want to sell or give away any of her art. She says she'll still live with us. That sounds about right. She also says she'll sleep in our room with us, since "that's where the grown ups sleep and I'll be a grown up." Not so sure about that part...
Malcolm, on the other hand, has more shapely aspirations:
Me: Malcolm, what do you want to be when you grow up?
Malcolm: A circle.
Me: What?
Malcolm: I want to be a circle.
Me: Okay, and what will you do when you're a circle?
Malcolm: Roll around.
