Malcolm got his first haircut today!
Both kids have very soft, fine hair, a lot like mine, and it's grown in really slowly. Malcolm's hair is still really short in the front, but was getting a bit long and shaggy on the sides and in the back.
So, a couple weeks ago, Matt declared it was time for a haircut. Despite my protests (he's just a baby! haircuts are for big boys!), Matt finally convinced me the mullet needed to go.
We took him to a local barber shop that I had read was good with little kids. He sat on my lap and did so great!! He got to wear the smock like a cape, and they gave him a little train to hold and he didn't cry at all!
He looks like such a big boy now!
He even got a certificate certifying his courageous performance :)
And no first haircut would be complete
without your best buddy along for moral support!
