Seventeen Months

Malcolm and Lucinda are 17 months old! 

(okay, 17 months and 2 days, but who's counting?) 

Their major area of development right now is language. 

They've been trying out all kinds of new sounds,

and are picking up new words almost daily. 

Last night, Malcolm said "night night". 

And Lucinda said "glasses" today. 

Crazy. 

Here's a list of some of their words

animal sounds: duck, cow, dog, tiger, elephant, monkey

They call each other "bup" and give each other hugs and kisses.  

They can point to all of their body parts. 

They love dancing and singing and running all over the house. 

Malcolm wraps his arms tightly around my neck while we

sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" before bed each night. 

Lucinda loves to dance on her daddy's feet. 

They are magical.

We are so very blessed.
