Last year, one of our favorite local events we went to was the Friendship Firehouse Festival in Old Town Alexandria. Since both Malcolm and Lucinda LOVE fire trucks, we knew it would be a hit again this year.
The kids talked all day Friday and all Saturday morning about how they were going to see a fire truck :) They loved getting to climb up in the truck and "drive". Since we went to our MyGym class first, we got there pretty close to lunch/nap time, so we couldn't stay too long, but it was definitely the highlight of the day!
