Our finished nursery

When we found out we were having a boy and a girl, we wanted to design a nursery that was gender neutral, but also bright and cheerful (in other words, one that wasn't pastel yellow and green, the "go to" gender neutral combo). We settled on a combination of turquoise, lime green and orange. We finished the final touches, and I LOVE how it came together!

Before...
For those that have been to our house, the nursery is the bedroom across from our room. In its former life, it belonged to the little girl of the family we bought the house from. It had a blue ceiling with clouds haphazardly painted on it, and cream walls with birds and flowers stenciled in various places. I was ready to see those stencils go.
