Today, we spent a fun afternoon at the annual picnic for the Fairfax County Mothers of Multiples group at Van Dyke Park in Fairfax. We enjoyed yummy BBQ from the DC BBQ truck, ice cream from an ice cream truck, and we met lots of other local parents of twins (and even some with triplets and more!).
Malcolm and Lucinda even met another set of boy/girl twins born on the same day as them, plus identical twin boys who are only four days younger than them. The babies were in delightful moods the entire time, and they loved all the new people to meet and things to see. They even got to wear nametags for the first time!
We had a great time, and hope to do more stuff with the FCMOM group in the future!
