With Catherine and Jeffrey visiting us this week, my Friday off was the perfect time to check out the new National Children's Museum. It's just over the river in Maryland, and we're always looking for new indoor activities. While they may be overselling it as the "National Children's Museum" it's a great indoor playspace for the 3 and under crowd. Our test group of three 2, and near 2, year olds pronounced it a hit!

The firetruck was a big hit!
We spent most of our time in the 3 and Under section of the museum, which includes a nice, big play area with a climbing tunnel structure, a Cookie Monster Yum Yum lunch truck, trains, trucks, toys, puzzles, chalk, magnets, and more.
We wrapped up our visit in one of the classrooms making Very Hungry Caterpillar crafts before heading home for lunch and naptime.
