Summer's in full swing and it's shaping up to be a very hot one. Yesterday it was 104, but felt like 115. Trying to keep two toddlers entertained while trapped in the air conditioned house is hard! Plus, Matt's away this weekend, so my indoor backup plan - letting them run around BJs while we pick up snacks for our upcoming roadtrip - is on hold. There's not really much new around here, so here's some random pictures of what we've been up to since we came back from Pittsburgh two weeks ago.
We played outside a lot last weekend, since the weather was cooler.
The kids finally figured out how to scoot their ride-on toys with their feet.
Then Lucinda promptly decided to stand on hers.
Malcolm continues his mission to make Bailey his BFF.
Lucinda thought the bathroom was a good place to set up her lounge chair and hold court last night.
I've been looking down and seeing a LOT of this lately, as Malcolm is going through a rough period of separation anxiety, and freaks out if I'm not holding him, or at least within 6 inches of him at all times.
Other than that, we've just been hanging out, and they've been going on some great adventures during the week with Miss Emmaline, like this trip to National Harbor where they played on the "beach" and got the biggest high-five ever!
